The front of the Grand Auditorium Rainbow Gc-SR is made from Master Grade Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made from Indian rosewood of the same high quality. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, enhances the acoustic properties of the guitars, providing excellent surface protection and accentuating the natural texture of the wood. The Furch CNR System's two-way neck bracing adds strength, stability and durability.
The fingerboard and headstock are made of ebony. The fingerboard surface is decorated with mother-of-pearl position markers. The guitar's refined look is accentuated by the body binding, Hawaiian koa fingerboard and rosette, redheart soundboard inlay complemented by black and white lines and ebony pegs for the fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dots. Stable tuning is guaranteed by high-quality Gotoh mechanics in gold finish with ebony olives.
The guitar comes in a luxurious moulded case.
Few Czech products have such a worldwide reputation as Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time. Today, the company's acoustic guitars are played by Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa and many others. Furch guitars are best advertised by their reputation.
