The Rootmaster EVO series of transistor combos offer the quality associated with the Ashdown brand at an affordable price. The materials used make them lighter than traditional solid boxes, which your hands and strained spine will appreciate.

This particular type has a power output of 500 watts. It offers two instrument inputs for active and passive instruments. The Ashdown VU meter displays the optimal input volume setting. Five parametric equalizers, a Shape button, and an integrated compressor are used for further sonic adjustments. The Drive knob adds the juice to the tone provided by the melted tubes of a tube machine, while the Sub potentiometer adds the necessary fullness; both of these functions can be controlled by the FS 2 footswitch (not included).

Other benefits of this combo include send/return effects loops for connecting pedal effects, two XLR/jack combo outputs for connecting external speakers, and a DI output that sends the signal from the amp directly to a mixing console or recording console. Through the line input, you can play any Mp3/Audio tracks and jam freely to them.

The speaker box is equipped with one twelve-inch Ashdown White Line custom speaker and a switchable top (Hi, Low, Off) with which you will have complete control over the treble frequencies of the box. The cabinet construction is made of lightweight plywood coated with black tolex. The speakers are covered by a front steel grille. Easy mobility is ensured by steel handles on the sides of the box. On the rear panel, the cabinet offers two combined XLR/jack 6.3 mm inputs.

Massive boxes and full tube amplifiers, to which he has a lifelong relationship, fully fulfil this.
