The 1951 American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde electric guitar returns to the design of the first single-cut models from 1951, which were renamed, after the famous Gretsch branding tug-of-war, to reflect the fast-growing television business, the Telecaster. The instrument's ash body is covered in a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer - not only does it allow the wood to breathe and not muffle its sound, but it also gives the guitar a distinctly personal character as the years go by. Of course, there is a maple neck with a "1951 U" profile and a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets.
Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster pickups give the guitar an authentic sound and "twang" with pure Fender DNA. The character of the tone can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position toggle switch. The strings are mounted in Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines and through a solid headstock with three brass saddles through the body of the guitar. The stylish finish is accentuated by a single-ply pickguard.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
