FENDER PM-3 STANDARD Triple-0 NATURAL
Designed in the USA, the Paramount series is a premium quality acoustic instrument. Paramount guitars are all-massive and bear many references to the legendary instruments of the 1960s, such as the checkerboard body and rosette binding, the pickguard shape and the mother-of-pearl inlay of the fingerboard. Underneath this art deco look is a modern preamp, made in collaboration with Fishman and tuned specifically for each guitar shape to offer maximum control and variability in the resulting amplified sound.
The Paramount Standard Triple-0 is an all-massive guitar with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The body is finished in a high gloss lacquer. Inside the guitar you would find X-shaped ribbing, with individual ribs being pierced (scalloped) to ensure the loosest possible resonance.
The neck of the instrument is mahogany in the shape of a "C", while the fingerboard carrying 19 frets is made of ovangkol. The thickness of the bone zero fret is 43 mm, the menusure is 643 mm and the neck radius is 400 mm. The headstock is ovangkol with a bone compensated saddle.
The guitar is equipped with a Fender/Fishman PM preamp, calibrated specifically for the Triple-0 shape. Controls are volume, two-band equalizer (bass, treble), phase control and built-in tuner.
