Electric guitar V120PU001 proshop Distressed red/tobacco burst in single-cut LP design is an instrument from Vintage Pro Shop. Similar to the V100 guitars from the Icon series, it offers the refined design and feel of instruments played over the years, i.e. subtler and more pronounced elements of faux patina hardware and a distinctive dusting of red lacquer (Distressed finish) under which the original Tobacco Sunburst finish is clearly visible.
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany. A fingerboard made of Lignum Rosa, a composite material with the properties and appearance similar to rosewood, is glued to a mahogany neck with a pleasant "Soft C" profile, fitted with twenty-two Medium-sized frets. Position dots make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The Bare Knuckle Old Guard P90 pickup in a dogear design with Alnico 2 magnets gives the guitar a vintage feel and sound with just the right biting mids for easy assertion in the mix. The character of the tone can be adjusted using the volume and tone shutter potentiometers.
The strings are mounted via a NuBone zero fret in Grover tuning machines and a Graphtech Resomax Sonic 1 Wrapover headstock. The guitar is supplied in packaging along with a guitar strap and certificate of authenticity.
