Koch The Greg Combo is a three-channel tube guitar combo with a boutique design, 50 watts of power and EL34 tubes that give all three channels of the combo a typical British sound with punchy mids.
The three channels (Clean, Overdrive and Overdrive Boost) offer the beautifully clean ringing sounds of British vintage instruments that retain their warmth without distortion even at higher volumes, blues-rock crunch and a more distorted hard rock sound thanks to ample headroom. An activatable OTS circuit with a 0.5 watt limiter allows you to give each channel an even fuller, more saturated sound.
Both the Clean and Overdrive channels have their own controls in the form of volume, gain and three-band EQ potentiometers, while the end amp section is represented by Presence and Master Volume controls. Naturally, vintage instruments also include built-in effects - here in the form of reverb, harmonic vibrato and tremolo effects. The Reverb and Vibrato/Tremolo sections can be layered one behind the other in any order you set.
The combo also offers switchable power (50/25 watts), a selectable serial or parallel effects loop with input buffer for easy integration of your favourite pedal effects, output to an external speaker with 8 ohms impedance, a Rec/PA mono output for direct connection of the combo to recording equipment or PA, and input for the included five-channel footswitch.
At the heart of the cabinet are two ten-inch Jensen Jet C10-40 speakers. The footswitch can be used to switch between the combo's channels, activate the OTS circuit, and switch the Reverb and Vibrato/Tremolo effect sections.
