The body of the Les Paul Custom Ebony is made of mahogany. An ebony fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets is glued to a mahogany neck with a "60s SlimTaper" profile. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two factory ProBucker humbuckers with Alnico II magnets successfully emulate the sound of PAF pickups. They give the guitar a full, warm tone that you'll appreciate with both clean and rock-distorted sound. Its character can be adjusted as standard with two volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. Waxing the pickups ensures satisfying playing without annoying feedback and hum.
Fast, accurate tuning and good sustain are provided by Grover Rotomatics 18:1 ratio gears and a fully adjustable Locktone Tune-o-matic stringed tailpiece. The guitar's luxurious look is accentuated by gold hardware, black pickguard, multi-layered body binding and headstock logo.
