The Furch Vintage 1 series guitars have a rich, balanced sound and an attractive, traditional look. In the case of the Furch Vintage 1 OOM-SR 2022, it is an all-wood instrument made from Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood.
The OOM-shaped body has much in common with Orchestra guitars (compact size, body silhouette and depth), from which it differs by the attachment of a mahogany neck to the body at the 12th fret, the different placement of the fingerboard and the special ribbing on the soundboard. It thus offers a very similar, yet brighter sound than the Orchestra models.
The ultra-thin UV Full-Pore Satin Finish (a high-gloss lacquer finish with a matte finish) maximizes the guitar's resonance while providing ultimate protection. Furch CNR System two-way neck bracing increases the strength, stability and durability of the neck. Its Full-Pore Smooth-Slide Satin Finish optimizes playability and allows you to glide smoothly from chord to chord.
Orientation on the ebony fingerboard is facilitated by white mother-of-pearl side and front position markers. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the top-of-the-line Gotoh SE700 Nickel patina mechanics with a gear ratio of 1:15. The guitar's attractive appearance is accentuated by the faux ivory body binding and a rosette consisting of a double ring with walnut inlay and contrasting black and white lines.
The instrument comes in a quality Hiscox case.
