The GUT850 Guitalele offers the proven combination of a solid spruce front and a back and sides made of laminated mahogany. Glued to the mahogany neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with nineteen frets. Position markers facilitate orientation around the fingerboard surface.
Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings through the zero fret and the compensated bone saddle in the open tuning mechanisms of the guitar type and in the so-called string-through tailpiece, a concept taken from guitar design where the strings are led through the tailpiece through the instrument's soundboard. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by the mother-of-pearl rosette (abalone).
The Guitalele comes in a stylish red gig bag with 15 mm thick padding. ADGCEA tuning.
The Slovenian brand Flight is another interesting name in the field of ukulele manufacturers. It offers a wide range of these popular compact instruments in classic and less traditional shapes and standard sizes. Beginning players and vagabonds with a musician's soul will be delighted by the well-crafted, more affordable ukulele models made from classic and exotic woods in natural and coloured finishes, or the Travel Series ukulele models with a durable plastic body. More demanding musicians and professional players can also choose from a selection of highly crafted semi-/full-size electroacoustic ukulele models.
