The body of the brand's limited-edition GS Mini-e Koa LTD model is made from a solid spruce soundboard and laminated koa back and sides. Glued to the sapele neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets.
The strings are mounted in the company's chrome Die-Cast pickups and a micarta fingerboard. Good sustain and stable tuning are supported by string routing through the NuBone (synthetic bone imitation) zero and saddle frets.
Sound pickup is handled by Taylor ES-B electronics, which take advantage of the Taylor Expression System 2 sound pickup. It features a preamp installed in the back of the guitar with Volume, Tone controls, built-in chromatic tuner and a clear LED display with low battery indication (CR2032).
