The FSR Redondo Player Surf Green from the FSR (Fender Special Run) limited series is an electro-acoustic guitar with a solid dreadnought style body consisting of a solid Sitka spruce soundboard and mahogany back and sides. Guitarists who prefer to play with a pick will especially appreciate the full, punchy sound of the instrument. Attached to the body is a mahogany neck with a pleasingly narrow Slim C profile inspired by the neck design of Fender electric guitars. The walnut fingerboard surface is divided by twenty frets and white position dots. The instrument's resonant qualities are supported by optimized reduced ribbing (Scalloped X).
The instrument's voicing is provided by Fishman electronics with a two-band equalizer and a built-in tuner in the guitar's back. The strings are mounted across the Graph Tech NuBone zero fret in the company's nickel mechanics and walnut fingerboard (Modern Viking). The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by the Surf Green color scheme, a three-layer pickguard in gold, a rosette composed of black and white rings and the logo on the headstock.
