The Legacy Black SF MP electric guitar is a classic double-cut ST-shaped instrument from the more affordable Tribute series that is sure to appeal to all lovers of Alnico single-coil tone. It features a poplar body, bolt-on maple neck with a pleasing "Medium C" profile, and a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo nickel frets.
Three single-coil pickups with Alnico V magnets designed by Paul Gagon give the guitar the authentic sound and feel of the finest pickups from the late 1950s. The character of the tone can be adjusted with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls (Passive Treble and Bass) and a five-position pickup switch.
The strings are anchored in tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio and a Dual Fulcrum vibrato with two-point attachment. Nice workmanship is accentuated by the stylish pickguard and instrument headstock.
