Grand Pacific acoustic guitars are closest to the Dreadnought Round-Shoulder shape. The body of the AD27e Flametop is made of solid figured big-leaf maple with a distinctive wood grain accentuated by a Woodsmoke Shaded Edgeburst finish. Patented V-Class ribbing improves the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation.
An ebony fingerboard is glued to the maple neck. Positioning dots made of imitation mother-of-pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface. The strings are mounted in the company's nickel mechanics. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the maple rosette, black top and pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell.
The guitar is equipped with high-quality company electronics. Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
The instrument comes in a soft case (Aerocase).
