The RGT1221PB-DTF's lime body is adorned with a spectacular poplar root veneer top, with the wood grain accentuated by a Deep Twilight Flat finish. The thin through-neck with Wizard III profile is composed of seven pieces of maple and walnut. Twenty-four Jumbo-size stainless steel frets divide the ebony fingerboard surface. The rounded fret edges provide you with greater playing comfort (Premium fret edge treatment), while orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by mother-of-pearl and genuine mother-of-pearl (Abalone) imitation blocks and luminescent dots on the side.
The combination of two passive humbuckers from the respected Di-Marzio brand with Alnico magnets, a high output tailpiece and a milder neck, gives the guitar a clean dynamic sound with good articulation suitable for aggressive metal styles. The dyna-MIX 10 pickup switching system (five-position blade switch and two-position alter switch) offers ten different pickup connection options, where you can easily switch between humbucker and single-coil pickup sounds, in standard and power tap modes.
The strings are held in Gotoh Magnum Lock (MG-T) locking tuners and through a solid Mono-Rail bridge through the body of the guitar.
