The ECLIPSE '87 NT RAINBOW CRACKLE is a single-cut model with a domed top and a construction consisting of mahogany wings and a three-piece maple neck. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the Ebony Macassar fingerboard. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position blocks.
The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB (B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides the sound with a balanced balance of aggression and warmth, as well as the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chordal breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to split the pickup coils and change the character of the humbuckers to single-coil in seconds.
The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and Tonepros Locking Toms and stringers.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984, and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, has been formed to offer popular models in an affordable option. Even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, however, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
