This guitar represents one of the specific forms of Ibanez acoustic guitars. The Talman has the advantages of electroacoustic instruments in the form of a resonant bellows body, which combines with the design and playing comfort of electric guitars (double-cut body design, headstock shape, neck profile).
The front of the TCY10E-LVH is made of spruce, while the back and sides are made of African sapele, visually and in characteristics similar to real mahogany. A purpleheart/amaranth fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the okoumé neck.
Sufficient volume for the needs of public performance or playing with a band is provided by Ibanez AEQ-2T electronics with an integrated tuner built into the guitar's bellows and an underblock piezo pickup. The strings are held in chrome die-cast mechanisms and a purpleheart fingerboard. The Ibanez Advantage's pegs in the headstock offer the advantages over standard models in terms of ease of handling and firm string attachment.
