The KRK Classic 7 is the reincarnation of one of the best-selling studio monitors ever - the Rokit 7G3. The third generation of Rokits, on which the Classic 7 is based, brings a number of improvements over its second-generation predecessors, including a redesigned Class A/B amplifier with higher output, lower distortion and noise, and a new tweeter that sounds cleaner and can handle up to 40 kHz. The monitor's cabinet has also been changed to better address problems of unwanted diffraction and resonance and provide a richer stereo image thanks to more rounded edges. A redesigned bassreflex enhances the lower bandwidth.
The Classic 7 houses a 7" aramid fibre woofer and 1" fabric tweeter, which together with the A/B amplifier give you a maximum output of up to 73 W. The rear panel includes RCA/TRS/XLR inputs, adjustable LF and HF bandwidth and a volume control.
