The Final Fantasy XIV Stratocaster is a limited edition Fender electric guitar created in collaboration with the team behind the success of the popular online game.
The guitar's alder body is dressed in black, which is punctuated by highlights of blue and purple to represent the crystals of light and darkness - key elements of Final Fantasy XIV. A maple neck with a "Modern C" profile is glued to a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. The fingerboard surface is embellished with a thematic meteor inlay on the twelfth fret.
Three single coil V-Mod pickups give the guitar a warm dynamic sound with a distinctive Fender imprint. The character of the tone can be shaped with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch. The push/push function of the Tone 2 control lets you connect the pickups and middle pickup in series for fuller sounds.
Strings are mounted in the company's vintage-style mechanics and synchronized tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by Black Nickel hardware and a neck plate decorated with the Final Fantasy XIV logo. The guitar comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity.
