Tanglewood's Winterleaf line features more affordable acoustic guitar models in popular designs.
The Winterleaf Super Folk Cutaway 12 is a twelve-string electro-acoustic guitar with a more compact Orchestra (OM) body shape and a convenient lower body cutaway for better control at higher fret positions. The front of the guitar is made of laminated Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated mahogany. The nato wood neck is glued to an Eboncore composite fingerboard with twenty-one frets.
Sound reinforcement options include the company's TW Premium Plus preamp with four-band EQ, Phase function and integrated tuner. The strings are mounted in chrome die-cast Grover mechanisms and a composite headstock over the NuBone zero and saddle frets. The guitar's sober design is enhanced by a maple perimeter binding complemented by black and white lines and a maple rosette.
