The guitar catches the eye at first sight with its original hard and heavy shape of the lime body. The bolted maple neck is glued to a "Roasted Jatoba" fingerboard with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation around its surface is facilitated by position markers in a design designed by Max Cavalera.
Two ESP Designed humbuckers give the guitar the juicy sound needed to phrase sharp metal riffs and play ultra-fast or singable solos. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The strings are anchored in the company's proprietary mechanics and through a solid TOM bridge in the stringers.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984, and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company LTD has been created to offer popular models in an affordable version. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components. For a fraction of the price you can have a very high quality instrument, which is behind many a famous riff.
