JACKSON MJ Series Signature Misha Mansoor So-Cal 2PT MN DB

After more than a decade, the Jackson MJ series announces the return of "Made in Japan" electric guitars. With a cutting-edge design and fully profi parameters, they represent the top of the brand's Asian production, as well as a more affordable alternative to American models. Specifically, the MJ Series Signature Misha Mansoor So-Cal 2PT guitar is the signature So-Cal/Stratocaster model of Misha Mansoor of the American djent band Periphery.

The guitar's limewood body is covered in a glossy Daphne Blue finish. The instrument's maple neck and fingerboard were heat-treated before assembly, making the wood more stable while giving the guitar an exclusive look (Caramelized Maple). The neck is also reinforced with graphite bracing. A definite plus for fast players is the flat fingerboard radius (20 inches) and its rounded edges. Orientation around the fingerboard surface, even in the darkest corners of the stage, is made easier by pearl position dots with black edges and side luminescent markers (Glow-in-the Dark Luminlay).

The combination of the three pickups of the renowned Bare Knuckle brand, i.e. a kobyl humbucker and two single-coil pickups with a higher output signal, provides the guitar with a wide range of sound tones (the sonic character of the single-coils is close to that of the P-90 pickups). Standard adjustments can be made using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position pickup switch. Tuning stability and good intonation are ensured by anchoring the strings via the Graph Tech TUSQ XL zero fret in Gotoh locking mechanisms and a Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo. The stylish look is accentuated by the Fender Strat design headstock, white single-ply pickguard and chrome hardware.

The guitar comes in a high quality soft case (Foam Core Case).
