The body of this guitar is made of poplar. A figwood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets is glued to a bolted maple neck reinforced with graphite bracing. Its combined radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
Two proprietary high output active humbuckers give the guitar a juicy sound, much needed in metal and rock music. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a Floyd Rose double-reverse tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing.
For several decades, electric guitars from the American Jackson brand have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players.
