Martin's Junior Series line offers more affordable full-mass acoustic guitars with shorter gauges and smaller Dreadnought and 000 bodies made in the Martin factory in Mexico. Featuring all-mass construction and traditional reduced X ribbing, they boast the sound of large guitars, while the gently rounded edges of the body backplate and the perfect adjustment of the fingerboard and frets by the PLEK machine ensure optimum playing comfort.

The body of the DJr-10E Street Master is made of sapele, which is very similar in properties and sound to mahogany. The Select Hardwood neck, which is attached to the body at the fourteenth fret as standard, is joined by a 20-fret fingerboard made from the modern composite material Richlite. The good acoustic properties of the guitar are accentuated by the reduced X-type (Scalloped X-Brace) ribbing of the soundboard.

The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on the Richlite headstock provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain, along with the Corian fretboard. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by chrome tuning machines and a single rosette.
