The Vintage 25th Anniversary Series limited edition V6HSVB celebrates a milestone in the company’s history and is in honour of their 25th anniversary of guitar craftsmanship. Based on the Vintage V6, the V6HSVB is built on a solid foundation of classic Vintage craftsmanship and aesthetics, time-tested Wilkinson hardware and hand-picked tonewoods.
With a striking and rare two-tone Silver Burst finish, the V6HSVB, one of three models within the Vintage 25th Anniversary Series, looks stunning with a contrasting 3-ply black-white-black scratchplate, off-set with cream/black pickup covers, cream coloured controls and chrome hardware.
A pair of Wilkinson WOVaS Single Coil pickups in the neck and middle positions provide a wide range of traditional tonewood enhanced sonics from the highly resonate, double cutaway 2-piece American alder body and hard rock maple neck, delivering sensational note separation and clarity throughout its wide frequency range.
As a matched pair, they deliver single coil chime and clarity in abundance with power and punch that’s perfect for crunch, mild gain and full-on overdrive, with fat note solos rolling off beautifully. A hum cancelling Wilkinson WOHZBb Double Coil at the bridge increases volume, harmonics and extra bite for soaring solos and, when coil-tapped, has been expertly voiced to deliver authentically accurate single coil tones.
With a single master Volume control with tone control 1 for the neck pickup, and ‘Custom Mod' Tone control 2 for both the middle and bridge pickup and five-way selector switch, there’s no doubt why the V6H is one of the most versatile, stylish work horse rock machines around.
