The Taylor 812ce 12-Fret is an electro-acoustic guitar from one of the top of the line 800 model series of the American brand Taylor, which represents the top of the line all-massive instruments manufactured in El Cajon, California. The more compact Grand Concert body shape is sure to please guitarists who prefer fingerstyle playing or like to put the pick away from time to time.

The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are also made of solid Indian rosewood, which enriches the instrument visually thanks to the nice contrasting wood grain. The 12-fret model, in addition to the connection of the neck to the body at the twelfth fret, is also specific for the shifting of the fingerboard to a greater distance from the fingerboard, which results in a stronger response of the soundboard. The guitar is equipped with high-quality company electronics. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
