The Pro series of the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for professional players and the general music public. In addition, instruments with typical company design, quality workmanship and great playing characteristics can still be purchased at a price that won't break your budget. Specifically, the Dinky models offer the popular Superstrat body shape.

The body of this guitar is made of linden. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-sized frets is glued to a bolt-on neck with graphite bracing composed of two maple parts and a wenge middle part. The currently popular Multi-scale concept, i.e. the fretboard is fitted with diagonally placed frets, gives the instrument a variable menzatura (648 mm - 673 mm) and the strings optimum tension. In the opinion of some musicians, the movement of the hand on the fingerboard is also more natural. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers in imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, giving you perfect visibility even in the darkest parts of the stage.

Two Fishman Fluence Modern PRF-MH7 active humbuckers combining ceramic (headstock) and Alnico (neck) magnets give the guitar an aggressive dynamic sound and a fairly wide range of sonic options. In addition to a five-position switch that offers the sound of internal humbucker coils at positions 2, 3, and 4, you can use the push/pull tone shutter function to switch between passive and active pickup sounds.

Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the strings' attachment in Gotoh locking mechanisms and in a solid tailpiece (Hipshot 6 - 18 degrees) with strings anchored through the body.

For several decades, electric guitars of the American brand Jackson have been appealing mainly to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the list of corporate players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
