The Takamine EF381SC is a handmade 12-string dreadnought with a black gloss body that will not only sound great on stage, but also look good. The semi-massive body of the instrument is composed of a solid spruce soundboard and maple back and sides. The narrower, gently asymmetrical mahogany neck with a C profile fits perfectly in your hand, together with the rosewood fingerboard guaranteeing high playing comfort without the threat of early fatigue due to demanding finish. The neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint.
High-quality acoustic sound transmission is guaranteed by the CT4B II electronics with three-band graphic equalizer, volume control and built-in tuner, and the Takamine Palathetic pickup, which senses the vibrations of each string separately.
The strings are held in chrome die-cast tuning machines and a rosewood fingerboard via a bone fretboard and saddle. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a practical pickguard, bright binding, rosette, snowflakes and company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a case.
