CHAPMAN GUITARS ML3 Standard BEA Rabea Massaad Mensis

British guitarist Rabea Massaad is one of the main faces of Chapman Guitars - he has already visited our meadows and groves as part of music festivals. So it's no surprise that Rob Chapman has been supplying him with new signature models.

The Chapman ML3 Standard BEA is a six-string electric guitar with a modern T design. The alder body is adorned with a spectacular veneer of flamed maple. A baked maple neck with a pleasing C profile is glued to a macassar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two nickel frets. Body cutouts including a practical tummy cut and rounded fingerboard edges enhance playing comfort, while orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by side dots and a distinctive inlay on the twelfth fret.

Two Chapman Henchman humbuckers, a classic humbucker in the toe position and a mini-rail in the neck position, give the guitar the precisely articulated dynamic sound required in contemporary instrumental music, as well as a relatively wide range of tonal colors. The instrument's sonic arsenal is expanded by the Push/Pull tone control with Coil-Split function, which turns the humbuckers into single-coils in seconds.

Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings in the company's mechanics and through a solid bridge through the body of the instrument.
