Gibson SG electric guitars are rightfully among the immortal icons of rock music. Their sound is associated with guitar legends like Carlos Santana, Pete Townsend and other rock music greats. The mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with a spectacular AA-quality flamed maple top. A thin finish in the form of a nitrocellulose lacquer allows the guitar's wood to breathe and enhances the instrument's sonic qualities. Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by pearl position blocks in the shape of a trapezoid.
Two Burstbucker Pro Lead+/Rhythm humbuckers inspired by PAF pickups take care of the sound of the instrument. The character of the sound can be adjusted with two volume potentiometers, two tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. Additionally, by flipping the Volume knobs, you can split the humbucker coils and change the sound to the color of Gibson P90 single-coil pickups.
Stable tuning is ensured by mounting the strings via the GraphTech zero fret in the Grover Mini Rotomatics and via the Nashville Tune-O-Matic aluminum bridge in the stringers. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by chrome hardware.
