The Cameo DVC 4 allows you to control any DMX compatible device using the Cameo D 4 software from your PC or Mac. The Plug & Play interface provides 1024 DMX channels in live mode and includes internal memory for 256 channels in standalone mode. This allows you to copy your light show programming to the unit and run it without a computer. With a mini-USB input and a pair of 3 pin DMX outputs, the DVC 4 is powered from a computer's USB port. Three control buttons allow program selection and dimming in a separate mode that requires a standard 5V USB power adapter.
The free Cameo D 4 software package includes more than 15,000 factory presets and an editor for creating custom settings. It allows you to map individual report types, group them and create master layouts in 2D view. Create, organize and save dynamic scenes, use integrated palettes to control light without moving faders, and generate hundreds of exciting effects with the XEEL engine.
The software provides a comprehensive set of live editing tools, a sound analyzer and MIDI clock for BPM synchronization, and real-time 3D visualization to pre-render your programmed light show. The screen layout and appearance are completely customizable, and the free Easy Remote app lets you control the software over WiFi from iPhones, iPads, and other Android devices.
