The front of the Dreadnought AVD11CE-ANS is made from solid Caucasian spruce, while the back and sides are made from ply okoumé. A 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard is glued to the exotic nyatoh neck. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by pearl position dots (Gold Mother-of-Pearl).
Stable tuning and ideal resonance is guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings through the bone impregnated saddle and the zero fret in the ovangkol headstock and tuning mechanisms in Antique Chrome finish. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer advantages over standard models in terms of ease of handling and firm string attachment. The refined look of the instrument is accentuated by a wooden rosette, a herringbone body surround and a practical black pickguard that also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
Sufficient volume for public performance or playing with a band is provided by a Fishman Sonicore subwoofer and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 electronics with integrated tuner and two-band EQ.
