The body construction of the guitar is composed of mahogany wings and a through-neck made of three pieces of maple with a narrower fast Thin U profile. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the ebony fretboard surface with a longer (baritone) 686 mm gauge.
Two active Fishman Fluence SRC signature humbuckers provide the drive needed for the guitar's sound, as well as the perfect articulation with the quick attack needed for clarity on the thickest strings. The Push/Pull function of the volume control allows you to switch between voicings - making the guitar's sonic arsenal much wider than it might first appear. A three-position pickup switch completes the controls as standard. Stability of tuning and good sustain is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings in the company's high-quality LTD Locking mechanisms and in the solid Tonepros Locking TOM headstock with string anchoring through the body of the guitar.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, has been formed to offer popular models in an affordable option. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
