The D'Angelico Premier Fulton is a semi-massive 12-string electro-acoustic guitar in the popular Grand Auditorium shape that delights with a beautiful design and a balance of robust bass and bright treble.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated mahogany. The guitar's good acoustic properties are supported by reduced X ribbing (Scalloped X). The mahogany neck with a narrower "C" profile is glued to a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard. Position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on its surface.
The body of the guitar is balanced by a headstock in the traditional shape of D'Angelico instruments decorated with a mother-of-pearl company logo. The strings are mounted in the aforementioned Antique Bronze company mechanics over the saddle and zero bone frets and the ovangkol headstock. The appearance of the instrument is enhanced by a rosette composed of pearl (Abalone) and ABS rings, a light body and fingerboard binding complemented by black lines or ebony pegs in the fingerboard with pearl dots.
The instrument's sound system is provided by a D'Angelico preamp with an integrated tuner built into the guitar's neck.
