The alder body of this guitar is covered with a glossy polyester lacquer. The maple fingerboard is fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers make it easy to navigate its surface.
Two proprietary single-coils give the guitar a sound with unmistakable Fender DNA. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for adjustments. The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines (Standard Cast/Sealed) and in a solid headstock with six steel saddles (anchoring the strings through the body). Traditional features are complemented by a three-ply pickguard in Mint Green.
Fender Player Series electric guitars replace the popular Standard models. This is the brand's basic quality range with a clear plus in the form of value for money. Although these are not US-Made guitars (they are made in Ensenada, Mexico), even these instruments are subject to comprehensive output control.
