The construction of this guitar is composed of mahogany body wings, figured walnut top, and a through-braced mahogany neck with graphite bracing. This design has a positive effect on the sustain of the instrument. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. An interesting feature is the shorter menus (629 mm), which offers less string tension and thus easier execution of bending and vibrato techniques. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by the position blocks in the Shark Eye design.
Two signature DiMarzio Mark Morton Dominion humbuckers with ceramic magnets give the guitar a juicy sound with perfect dynamic response to fast pick play. The pickups' milder output signal (medium output) is matched to the instrument's hi-gain settings, so the sound retains quality and concreteness during solos, chord breakdowns and rhythmic riffing. The sound settings can be adjusted with two volume controls (for each pickup separately), two tone controls, two mini switches that allow you to unzip the humbucker coils for a clean single-coil sound, and a three-position pickup switch.
Tuning stability is assured by the strings' anchoring in the company's locking Die-Cast drives, and a solid Jackson TOM-Style tailpiece and truss rod. The guitar's original design is stylishly complemented by chrome hardware and white trim on the body, fingerboard and headstock.
For several decades, electric guitars from the American brand Jackson have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's list of players. However, the radical metal design can also enchant adventurous musicians from the completely opposite musical spectrum, as evidenced, for example, by Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, who in turn clearly prove that the sound of Jackson instruments can make its way into genres built on a clean, warm sound.
