The front of the guitar is made from solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made from modern HPL (High Pressure Laminate) in a Hawaiian koa finish. The Select Hardwood neck is joined to the body at the 14th fret by a catalox fingerboard as standard. Positioning dots in Mother-of-Pearl Pattern and white side dots make it easy to navigate.
The compensated saddle made of TUSQ composite material gives the strings, along with the artificial stone (Corian) fretboard, great resonance and sustain. The austere design is enhanced by a rosette composed of black and white rings and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, which also protects the guitar's lacquer from scratches.
The guitar comes in a high-quality soft gig bag, making it ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to your musical dreams.
The American Martin company, founded in 1833, is quite deservedly one of the biggest and most respected names in stringed instruments. For decades, it has been one of the leading innovators in guitar design and manufacturing technology. However, to use only the past tense would be a great mistake; instruments with the Martin logo are still today among the guarantees of the highest quality in craftsmanship and sound. In addition, their current products use "eco-friendly" components made from renewable resources and composite materials.
