The guitar's alder body is covered in a glossy polyester lacquer. A maple neck with a pleasing "Thin C" profile and a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets give you a period-authentic Tele feel without any compromise. Position dots make it easy to navigate the fingerboard.
The full sound with the unmistakable Fender Wide Range humbucker character reliably evokes the era of the 1970s and Telecaster models (Thinline, Custom, Deluxe). Two volume potentiometers, two tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
The strings are mounted in the company's Vintage F Stamped tuning machines over a faux bone fretboard and in a solid Strat design with six saddles and string anchoring through the body. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by a logo on the headstock and a black three-layer pickguard, which also protects the guitar's lacquer from scratches.
The guitar comes in a high quality gig bag.
The Vintera series replaces the well-known Fender Classic series. It offers electric guitars and basses made in Ensenada, Mexico, that take you back to the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. The sound, the design, the equipment - all of it is subordinated to the fact that they are authentic period copies. If you're looking for an affordable Fender guitar or bass, then there's no question.
