The Vintera ´60s Stratocaster Modified is an electric guitar that combines the Strat design from the 60s with more modern elements in the form of a neck profile, a radium fingerboard or "hotter" pickups with a higher output signal. The alder body of the guitar is covered with a glossy polyester lacquer. The bolt-on maple neck with a "Modern C" profile is glued to a pau ferro fingerboard with a more modern 9.5" radius, fitted with twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by white position dots.
Three specially designed Hot '60s Strat single-coil pickups give the guitar an articulate sound with a distinctive Fender fretboard spiced with a higher output signal, allowing the instrument to find use in a wider range of musical genres. Standard controls in the form of a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are complemented by the S-1 switch, which engages the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2.
The strings are mounted in the company's proprietary tuning machines (Vintage-Style) via a faux bone fretboard and a synchronized tremolo with a two-point attachment. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the logo on the headstock, potentiometers with a subtle patina and a three-layer pickguard in Mint Green, which also protects the guitar's lacquer from scratches.
