The Vintera ´60s Jaguar Modified HH is an electric guitar that combines the characteristic offset design of 1960s Jaguar models with more modern elements in the form of a neck profile, a radium fingerboard, "hotter" pickups with higher output signal and modified electronics. The alder body of the guitar is covered with a glossy polyester lacquer. The bolt-on maple neck with a pleasing "Modern C" profile is glued to a pau ferro fingerboard with a modern 9.5" radius and the typical shorter gauge for Jaguars, fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers make it easy to navigate its surface.
Two Atomic humbuckers give the guitar both a full, juicy sound with high output signal and (thanks to a modified driver/switching system) the pure character of single-coil pickups. The Master Volume and Tone potentiometers are complemented by three slider switches (2x pickup switch, 1x tone cut), two rotary dials that select between single-coil and humbucker mods for each pickup, and a kill switch.
The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines (Vintage Style) via the faux bone fretboard and in a traditional "floating" tremolo via the Adjusto-Matic bridge, which is positioned closer to the bridge. The styling features are complemented by the company logo on the headstock and a three-layer pickguard in Mint Green, which also protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches.
