FENDER PLAYER JAZZ BASS PF SILVER

Fender Player Series electric basses replace the popular Standard models. This is the brand's basic quality line with a clear plus in the form of price/quality ratio. The series will also attract attention with a renewed choice of colour finishes - you can now choose from Tidepool, Sage Green Metallic, Polar White and Buttercream finishes. Although these are not US-Made basses (they are made in Ensenada, Mexico), they are also subject to a comprehensive quality control process.

The body of this Jazz Bass is made of proven alder, which combined with a maple neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard provides a traditional feel and excellent resonance. The neck is profiled as a comfortable modern C with a satin lacquer finish, and a sure hand on the fingerboard is also supported by Medium Jumbo frets that are ideal for the vast majority of playing styles.

The body and neck materials are also well matched by the pair of Alnico pickups, with a punchy and clearly defined sound; volume potentiometers for each pickup separately allow them to be mixed at will, and the resulting sound can be fine-tuned to perfection with the tone control. The hardware is also of typical Fender quality, with open drives, a synthetic bone fretboard and a four-stone headstock ensuring stable tuning.
