With Toraiz Squid, you have a 16-track sequencer at your disposal, so you can control up to 16 instruments at once.
You can connect almost anything - eurorack, vintage synth, modern groovebox and computer - because there's a USB port, 2x CV/Gate output, MIDI, clock and DIN Sync on the rear panel.
Tracks quickly and easily
An intuitive workflow with 16 pad controls allows you to quickly enter steps or play live as on a keyboard. You can quickly change various sequence parameters using the Interpolation function, and there's also quick addition of harmonies using the Harmonizer function.
Arrangements and grooves are then easily brought to life by varying the direction of the sequence, modulating the tempo or Groove Bend mode, which lets you control the rhythm with a slider in real time.
Time Warp
If the muse just kisses you quickly and disappears again, in this case you don't have to run right away to light candles under the altar of Aphex Twin. Squid is recording everything in the background, and when you press the Time Warp button, it will release all your ideas you thought were long lost.
Your sequences and patters can also quickly travel between the sequencer and your computer using the Squid manager feature. So you can work through your individual ideas wherever you're most comfortable.
