Seagull Maritime acoustic guitars represent one of the higher ranges in the Canadian brand's offer. These are solid wood instruments (Solid Wood Series) characterized by a combination of warm-sounding mahogany (back and sides) and a pressure-tested solid spruce soundboard, which adds the necessary punch to the sound. They are available in pure acoustic versions as well as fitted with active electronics.

The mahogany neck of this guitar is fitted with a Richlite composite fingerboard with twenty-one frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots. The guitar's sound is provided by a Fishman preamp with volume and tone controls (EQ) located in the instrument's soundboard. The stability of tuning is guaranteed by the TusQ zero fret strings in closed chrome-plated gears with a gear ratio of 18:1 (Bass side) and 26:1 (Treble side). The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by a decorative rosette, white trim and logo on the headstock.

The history of the Canadian company Seagul dates back to 1982 and its philosophy is clear - to produce instruments using concepts known from custom guitar manufacturing so that even hard-working musicians can afford them. As a result, Seagul instruments are characterised by the use of solid woods and elaborate finishes, for example, so that they impress in both sound and appearance.
