GIBSON J-45 Standard

Acoustic guitars from the J-45 series are among the most famous and popular instruments produced by the American company Gibson. The first guitars with this designation were introduced to the public in 1942. From the very beginning, they have been described by the manufacturer as "workhorse", i.e. maximally practical instruments without significant cosmetic accessories suitable for everyday concert playing.

The Gibson J-45 Standard has all the familiar attributes of these guitars - whether it's the popular sunburst finish or the materials used. The soundboard is made from solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are solid mahogany. This combination of woods, along with the Scalloped X reduced ribbing, guarantees great resonance of the instrument and a balanced sound across the frequency spectrum.

The mahogany neck is joined by a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. White position dots make it easy to navigate its surface. The Slim Taper neck profile offers great playability and good fingerboard compliance at all fretboard positions. Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the TusQ saddle and zero fret string attachment in the rosewood fingerboard and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. The stylish impression is accentuated by nickel hardware, multi-ply binding, rosette, tortoiseshell pickguard and logo on the headstock.

The icing on the cake and a practical solution for live performances is the guitar's LR Baggs electronics with volume control and tone control.
