The Villager follows the eponymous twelve-string model produced since 1965, which, in addition to the aforementioned features, is easily identified by the instrument's hockey-blade-shaped headstock. The guitar has a medium-sized body (Newporter), which gives the instrument a balanced ratio of sound articulation and clarity. The soundboard is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of mahogany. The surface of the body is covered with a glossy polyurethane lacquer. The mahogany neck with a slim-taper C profile is glued to a walnut fingerboard with 20 frets. Orientation along its surface is guaranteed by white position dots, the lower body cutout makes it easier to match even at the highest positions of the fingerboard. Thanks to the optimized ribbing, the instrument is slightly lighter and has better resonance capabilities.
The guitar is equipped with Fishman electronics with integrated tuner, which does not degrade the natural acoustic sound of the instrument. The strings are mounted in sealed nickel tuning machines, and the NuBone saddle and fretboard guarantee good sustain. The cream binding, gold pickguard, two-ring rosette and headstock logo complement the basic materials used visually and practically.
