The GA-QF is a visually striking electroacoustic guitar model, yet one of the least expensive in the line. Its soundboard is made of veneered maple with a nice grain and an impressive Coral Blue Burst finish, while the back and sides are made of ply mahogany. The mahogany neck is joined by a merbau fingerboard with 20 frets, which is easily navigated by position dots and inlays on the twelfth fret. The lower cut-out of the body offers a good match even at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound pickup is handled by a Fishman Isys T preamp with built-in tuner.
The fit of the strings in the specially shaped merbau headstock and their routing through the saddle and the zero fret made of Graphtech NuBone XB material guarantees optimal vibration transmission to the body of the instrument and good sustain. Stability of tuning is ensured by chrome Die-Cast mechanics. Traditional design elements are complemented by an ornate mother-of-pearl rosette, white binding and logo on the headstock.
