The Vintage brand is known for producing quality instruments at an affordable price. Many beginning musicians can afford to buy them. And it is, it must be added, a good choice - the price/quality ratio is more than favourable for the end customer. The VTR800 acoustic guitar is no exception in this respect.
It was designed in collaboration with guitarist Paul Brett, a great authority in the world of vintage guitars. But don't let the compact size fool you, this guitar can easily match the volume and sound of even much larger instruments. The semi-massive X-ribbed body construction is aptly complemented by a Nato neck whose V-shaped profile and eighteen frets hark back to retro instruments of the 1920s and 1930s. The distinctive binding and rosette, inlaid with real maple and rosewood, also catch the eye.
Stable tuning is ensured by a rosewood fingerboard with a NuBone synthetic bone saddle fret. The same material is also used for the zero fret, the open tuning mechanisms come from Grover and, in addition to great functionality, they also surprise with a luxurious chrome finish.
The sound system is taken care of by top-notch Fishman Sonitone electronics with an under-cowbell piezo pickup and volume and tone controls, which are located in the soundhole, so they do not interfere with the elegant appearance of the instrument. A nice bonus is the USB output, so you can easily plug the guitar directly into your computer or other devices. The guitar comes in a padded case with the Vintage logo.
