Guitars with the X250 designation offer a number of features you would expect to find on instruments in a higher price range. Their body is made of meranti wood. The beveled top edge of the body not only gives the instruments a sleek look, but also provides musicians with greater playing comfort. The bolted maple neck is joined by a fingerboard made of jatoba wood, known as Brazilian cherry, fitted with twenty-four frets. Position dots make it easy to navigate its surface.
The combination of two high-output EMG SRO OC1 humbuckers with the company's center single-coil provides the guitar with the necessary balance of power and sonic clarity. In addition to hard/heavy styles, the instrument can also be used in blues, pop or country. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are mounted in the company's proprietary double-reverse tremolo and black tuning machines. Tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever is ensured by locks on the zero fret.
