The body of this guitar is made of mahogany with a maple top. The binding around the body, neck and headstock of the guitar contrasts well with the colour finish of the instrument. The three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. the neck recessed deep into the body, is joined by a Makasar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by mother-of-pearl position blocks. The black hardware and logo on the headstock accentuate the guitar's stylish appearance.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, has been created to offer popular models in an affordable option. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
