The MG15GFX is the smallest model in the series equipped with an effects processor. The combo's four channels offer a wide variety of sounds, from crystal-clear tones to blues/rock crunch to thick metal distortion, which can be further adjusted using the three-band EQ. The aforementioned effects processor with five digital effects and built-in reverb with two effect types (Studio, Spring) is a definite plus for the combo. The Tap switch can be used to adjust the shape of the delay while selecting between Preset and Manual modes. In the former, you can store the current sound settings, which are automatically restored when you rewind or reactivate the machine, regardless of the current control settings. In Manual mode, the combo always responds to the current control settings.
Use the Aux in connector to connect external Audio/Mp3 soundtracks to the combo, which you can jam to at will, thanks to the headphone output even in silent mode. The footswitch output allows you to connect a PEDL-90008 footswitch (not included) with channel switching (Clean/Crunch, OD-1/OD-2) and tap tempo and tuner functions to the combo.
The MG series is Marshall's core line of transistor combos, amplifiers and associated speakers. In their manufacture, Marshall draws on years of experience making analogue instruments and working with the latest digital technologies.
