The Waza Amp Head is a transistor amplifier with a very versatile use. It offers 75 watts of power, but this can be attenuated to 50, 15 and even 1 watt, so you can enjoy the sound with a twisted Volume at home. This is especially important because the amp features Tube Logic technology, which faithfully mimics the sound of tube instruments, and the individual potentiometers significantly adjust its sound and dynamics. The sound of the Waza Amp Head is indistinguishable from that of a tube amp, and there's no need to worry about maintenance or waiting for the amp to warm up.
The amplifier features interchangeable sound capsules that completely change its character. In the middle position, the amp offers a classic rock tone derived from early guitar stacks. However, the factory also offers a capsule with the so-called Waza Brown Sound, which adapts the sound to a more modern concept of playing. Other sound capsules will be available in the future, and there's currently a collaboration between Boss and Steve Vai in play, so there's plenty to look forward to. There are four channels for each sound character (Clean, Crunch, Lead 1 and Lead 2). The Air Feel switch lets you simulate different microphone pickups, and adjusting the Cabinet Resonance control completely changes the sonic character of the connected speaker. Other useful features include two effects loops with parallel and serial connection, two line outputs (1/4 jack and XLR), a USB port for recording to a computer, a Midi input, or the ability to mount the amp directly into the Rack.
